NAVY SSR Education Qualification

The interested candidates must have minimum qualification for the Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2021 however, the criteria for Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) will be slightly different which is mentioned below. Read the article carefully to know about it in detail.

Minimum Educational qualification for AA

• The candidates must have a minimum of 10+2 degree certificate with 60% or more marks in aggregate from any recognized institution.
• Candidates must have a certificate in Maths and Physics and at least any one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Minimum Educational qualification for SSR

• The candidates must have a minimum degree of 10+2 in Maths and Physics and at least one of these subjects: - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Age Limit

The candidates interested in the Indian Navy SSR post will be recruited only if they are able to meet the minimum criteria set for them and qualify the Indian Navy SSR Exam 2021. The application will be open only for unmarried male candidates so it is the most essential criteria for Indian Navy SSR Eligibility Criteria 2021. Below are mentioned the age limit, which is essential for the candidates to know before filling up the Indian Navy SSR Application form 2021.

• The interested candidates must be born between 1st Feb 2001 to 31st July 2004
• Both the dates mentioned above will be inclusive.

Nationality

• The candidates applying for Indian Navy SSR have to be Indian citizens.
• Gorkhas (Nepal) are also eligible to apply for Indian Navy SSR posts.

Physical Standard & Eligibility

It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify the Physical Fitness Test in order to be eligible for the Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2021. Read below to know the criteria needed to fulfill.

• The PFT will consist of a 1.6 Km run, which is to be completed in 7 minutes.
• The candidates must be able to do 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak), and 10 Push-ups.

Medical standards

• The minimum height required for a candidate is 157cm to be eligible for the Indian Navy SSR Recruitment 2021. The weight should be proportionate to height.
• Candidates must be able for a minimum chest expansion of 5 cms.
• The candidate must have good physical and mental health, and be free from any defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties both ashore and afloat under peace as well as war conditions as per Navy Order (Special) 01/2008.
• The candidates should be disease-free, like, no cardio-vascular disease, no surgical deformities ( like Knock knees), no history of psychiatric ailments, and no ear infection.
